Rich has been a director of photography since 1999, and has been loving lighting and lensing for his clients ever since.

He works across TVCs, online content, music videos and stills, and he’s especially drawn to stories that make a real difference.  He shoots with his own Sony Burano and Atlas Mercury anamorphics – flexible, cinema-level tools that bring a filmic, human look to a production – and is just as at home on Arri when the job calls for it.

Working as both a cinematographer and a stills photographer, Rich draws on both worlds to keep his camera work fresh, and his production experience means he can help pull together a professional, easy-going crew.

A proud member of the NZCS, and along the way he’s picked up awards in New Zealand and around the world, including NZCS awards for cinematography, Music Video of the Year, Axis and Promax Awards.
